Civil Search Request Form

We will provide a certificate of search for a period of 15 years.  $15.00 fee is due at time of request.

  • All matters requiring a Judge’s signature must be submitted to the Clerk of Court’s office prior to being submitted to the Judge.
  • Correct advance deposit must accompany the original petition; otherwise, pleadings will be returned to sender or held without filing pending payment.
  • When advance deposit is depleted, no documents or pleadings will be filed and no action will be taken by the Clerk until an additional deposit is made or costs due are paid.
  • All outstanding court costs must be paid before a suit is dismissed.

R.S. 13:10.3(C)]; 26th JDC Judicial Expense Fund [La. R.S. 13:994(A), Court Reporter Fund [La. R.S. 13:967(I)]; Northwest Louisiana Legal Services [La. R.S. 13:1000]; Supreme Court Civil Case Reporting [La. R.S. 13:4688(B)]; and Service (Sheriff’s Office).
 

General Schedule of Civil Court:

Preliminary Defaults are entered on Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday

Confirmations of Default are held on Tuesdays only.  Request for confirmations may be submitted no later than 3:00 PM the preceding Friday

Court Begins at 9:30 AM with the exception of special settings at the Judge’s discretion

Civil Court is not scheduled for Judges holding Petit/Civil Jury terms
